Happy Birthday To Me

Thank you everyone for all the birthday wishes. I fill so blessed. I will try and get to all of you personally, however I just wanted to show my appreciation to everyone as well...

Jim- First and formost thank you for being the best husband ever. ILY!

Erin- My "twin" growing up. I can't believe we're getting so old. haha. Miss you all!

Pam- You're such a sweetie and you truly make me smile with all your messages you send me. Seriously.

Brooke- You're like family. Always know that. Even if our grandparents didn't get married. I love you!

Charlotte- You were THE MOST incredible roomate ever in college. If I had to live with a girl again I'd pick you over and over. Miss you dearly. Oh yea, I still have your umbrella!

Jane- You're so sweet! Computer Science class was so much fun when you were present.

How Amusing

I was in the food court the other day getting lunch while on my break and I noticed the Chick-Fi-La man handing out samples of chicken fingers. Funny thing is he was nibbling on most of the samples.

I did end up getting a chicken sandwich from there.

Odd Encounters

Odd Encounter #1:
Not only did Jim and I sit in the exact same plane seats to and from Boston (ok, maybe that's not really weird since you can pick your seats while purchasing your tickets online), but we sat next to the same person too. He was a really nice guy.

Odd Encounter #2:
My caps lock button on my computer is freaking out so I have no idea when I should start a new sentence. Can we say new keyboard for a birthday present?

HAPPY 25TH MY LOVE!

25 Things I love about Jim:
1. His laugh when something is really really funny.
2. His cooking because I can't make anything as perfect looking like the box.
3. His unique snore. Well, it's not really a snore. Just a whistle in his breath when he sleeps with his mouth open.
4. His patience with me in the morning.
5. His love towards his new nephew.
6. How he doesn't ever hang up his towel in the bathroom. When I see it on the floor, I get the opportunity to think of him.
7. His free spirit that comes with the territory of being the youngest child.
8. His eyelashes and how he bats them.
9. The way he lets me have my freedom with my girlfriends.
10. The surprises he plans spontaneously.
11. His sympathy when I vent out loud. He sits quietly and listens.
12. He takes our vows to the heart. When I'm sick he is always there.
13. His goofiness at sporadic times.
14. How he doesn't correct me when he knows I'm wrong.
15. His love towards his cat.
16. His will to learn new things with me.
17. His understanding of women in general.
18. His sexy beard. haha.
19. The way he dances at other people's weddings.
20. His wardrobe, or lack there of. Anyway, it describes him.
21. Even though I don't think he's listening, he still makes the bed everyday.
22. The way he lets me pick the movie to go see at the theater.
23. His love for teaching people new card games, and his patience when he looses.
24. How he tells me I'm gorgeous when I feel don't like it.
25. His love and devotion to be a caring, honest, and gentle husband towards me every single day of our marriage through thick and thin.

Cheesecake

For months there has been a tremendous amount of construction and speculation of what possibly could the town of Peabody be building at the local mall. I soon learned that they were building a Cheesecake Factory. Yes! I actually enjoyed watching the process of the building get the final touches over the last few weeks and wondered, "am I actually ever going to go eat here?" Turns out one of my co-workers received reservations for four people to eat free before it opened up to the public...and she asked me! How cool is that?! I'm no Cheesecake Factory virgin, so I was psyched. So Jim, Aaron and I joined her for two free appetizers, four free meals, four free adult beverages, and 2 slices of free cheesecake tonight. We all had a really good time. Just another bonus to birthday month.

My meal's presentation was so exquisite and my brownie sundae cheesecake was so yummy I took a picture of it on my cell phone.

HAPPY 10111th BIRTHDAY AARON!

So today is my roommate's birthday. A birthday is always a time to talk about all the good things that describe that one person. First of all, Aaron is funny. He cracks me up even when I can be a bitch. Ummm...let's see. Yup, that's about it. (I'm using a method of "reverse psychology" I learned from the all talented Michael Scott).

But seriously, he's a cool guy. An all American boy. Check out his journal and you'll see what I'm talking about.

So Aaron, this is your day. Live it up (after work of course). You're only 23 years young for one year and then it's all down hill from there until you reach "26."

My 12th Birthday

Today I celebrated my 12th Christian birthday. This means 12 years ago today I was baptised. It's just a little day between me and God. There's a lot that has happened throughout the past 12 years but God has been my guiding light through thick and thin. I have always cherished this classic verse because it's secure with it's guidance and true to it's words:

My word is a lamp to your feet and a light for your path.
Psalm 119:105
